Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and Maintain Equipment: Regularly inspect and perform maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, plumbing, and electrical systems to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
- Repair and Troubleshoot: Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues with production and facility equipment. This includes reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Preventive Maintenance: Develop and implement preventive maintenance procedures to minimize downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any issues to the facilities manager. Utilize Monday.com software for logging
- maintenance work.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and safety regulations. Conduct safety inspections and address any potential hazards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other departments and external contractors to coordinate maintenance activities and share site-specific knowledge.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification in HVAC, building maintenance technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance technician role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents. Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks that require physical exertion. Willingness to work overtime, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
