Position Overview:
We are looking for a Product Development Assistant that will play a crucial role in supporting the development and enhancement of the company's product lines. They are responsible for conducting market research, coordinating product lifecycle activities, collaborating on new product ideas, gathering customer feedback, and ensuring projects align with market needs and the goals of the company.

Job Duties:
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture, promoting open communication and teamwork.
  • Market Research: Conducting thorough market research, which may include taking surveys, doing desktop research, sending emails, and making calls, and even attending product launches of rival companies.
  • Analyzing sales, product performance, and market data to identify opportunities for product improvements or new offerings.
  • Assisting in the design, testing, and implementation of new products and features.
  • Coordinating with marketing and sales teams to align product line initiatives.
  • Implement new products by coordinating processes, resources, and timelines to ensure successful implementation of new systems.
  • Coordinate the setup prior to any sales promotion or event to support company sales.
  • Generating ideas and solutions to address customer pain points and enhance product offerings.
  • Answering all product-related questions in a polite manner and addressing queries promptly.
  • Preparing presentations, reports, and documentation to communicate project status and outcomes.
  • Innovation Mindset: Staying updated on emerging technologies and trends to recommend cutting-edge solutions.
  • Attention to Detail: Ensuring product specifications, marketing materials, and project plans are accurate and aligned with objectives.
  • Product Evaluation: Define and articulate the product vision, roadmap, and strategy based on market insights and company objectives.
Qualifications:
  • HS diploma or equivalent required
  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or closely related field strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and generate insights to support product and innovation strategies.
  • Strong decision-making skills with the confidence to communicate effectively with managers and team members across all departments.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and contribute to resolving challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Interest in exploring new ideas, fostering creativity, and contributing to brainstorming sessions and idea development.
  • Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records, product information, and documentation.
  • Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and keep track of multiple projects or responsibilities.
  • Foundational understanding of product development stages or a willingness to learn about product lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with NetSuite is a plus
