What we are Looking For

This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified leasing consultant who shares our vision of excellent customer service and professionalism to join our team at one of our many properties located throughout the Tri-County area.  The leasing consultant is directly responsible for on-site leasing of residential apartment units. The right candidate will oversee all aspects of leasing and marketing of the property and assist the Property Manager with day-to-day operations.

What You Will Be Doing

• Greet prospects and qualify their needs and rental requirements covering all criteria.
• Maintain a professional appearance as a company representative, demonstrating sound judgement and conduct.
• Participate in Market Surveys and Outreach Marketing activities to support the success of the property.
• Process applications for prospective residents and follow-up to maintain open lines of communication.
• Prepare leases and other property documentation for prospective residents.
• Demonstrate community knowledge by disclosing property information to new residents at close of sale.
• Have prospective residents fill out rental applications in accordance with the company procedures and Fair Housing requirements.
• Immediately Follow-up on prospective residents that did not close and attempt to close the sale again. If unable to help prospect, refer them to sister communities to meet prospective resident’s needs.
• Distribute renewal notices and follow up as needed.

What You Will Need to Have

• Strong sales and customer service skills
• The ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
• Minimum of 1 year of experience of apartment leasing experience
• Must be proficient in the use of computer software such as Microsoft Office
• Yardi property management software experience is a plus
• Valid Driver’s License
